Red Apple Balsamic Blondies
Ingredients
Apple Filling
2 large apples (cored, peeled and finely chopped)
1 T. brown sugar
1 T. Butter EVOO
1 T. Red Apple Balsamic Vinegar
½ t. pure vanilla extract
1 t. ground cinnamon
Blondies
¾ c. Butter EVOO
1 ½ c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 T. Red Apple Balsamic Vinegar
½ t. pure vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1 t. baking powder
½ t. salt
½ t. ground cinnamon
Maple Glaze
1 T. Butter EVOO
¼ c. pure maple syrup
½ c. powdered sugar
1 t. Red Apple Balsamic Vinegar
Pinch of ground cinnamon
Apple Filling
Combine chopped apples, brown sugar, Butter EVOO, Red Apple Balsamic Vinegar, vanilla extract and ground cinnamon in a saucepan. Cook mixture over medium-low heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
